The Los Angeles Lakers are coasting to a victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night and they have Anthony Davis to thank. AD finishes with 39 points, seven rebounds and two assists for 60.25 DKFP at a $9,600 price tag. The Lakers were toying with the Blazers for most of the game, pulling away in the second quarter before burying Portland in the second half. LeBron James ($10,00) finished with 31 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in 31 minutes for 54.75 DKFP.
AD has perpetually been probable for the last two weeks it seems, dealing with a shoulder injury and an illness. He looked totally fine to me and at this point I think the days of AD Watch are over. I imagine he may get a rest here and there, but Davis looks like he’s in peak form and the Lakers are on top of the Western Conference. He’s quietly turning in an MVP season, and is even overshadowing LeBron to an extent.
