Derrick Rose made a statement in the Detroit Pistons’ comeback win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. The first, was him hitting a buzzer beater off a spin move to clinch the 105-103 victory. The second statement, well ... check it out ...

Insert shrug emoji here. Is this D-Rose’s shrug moment like MJ? Nooooo, that was the inner Bulls fan in me talking. But that was some vintage Rose in the final seconds there. The Pelicans just can’t catch a break, even when they start to play a little bit better.
D-Rose finished with 21 points and seven assists off the bench in 28 minutes. The rest of the Pistons’ starters were relatively quiet, with Blake Griffin celebrating the win, but not really celebrating the five points he scored on 1-of-9 shooting.
