Zion Williamson scores 17 straight points in fourth quarter of NBA debut [VIDEO]

Pelicans rookie got off to a slow start but came on strong late in the game.

Zion Williamson was quiet through three quarters in his NBA debut ... too quiet. The rookie sensation came to life in the fourth quarter, dropping 17 straight points to get the Pelicans back in the game. Watch here courtesy of the Pelicans.

Zion would go on to finish with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes, being pulled after bring the Pelicans back to life and into the game again. They would go on to lose 121-117 and likely would have had a shot at winning if Zion stayed in the game. Either way, it was a joy to watch that stretch of basketball. Here’s to more of this from Williamson the rest of his rookie season.
