On the fifth night of the NBA preseason, we are set for a three-game slate. We’ve got our first TNT double-header of the NBA season with the Celtics taking on the Sixers and Warriors going up against the Kings. We have yet to see the debut of rookie center James Wiseman for Golden State. Wiseman is back at practice for the Dubs and appears on track to play Tuesday night.
Both the Celtics and Sixers will be playing their first game of the preseason. The other game on tap is Spurs-Rockets, which could be a bit more interesting. James Harden and PJ Tucker were back at practice and we could see Harden for the first time in the preseason. He’s reportedly complacent about the John Wall acquisition and it didn’t change his mind about wanting a trade out of Houston. Tucker is upset the team hasn’t given him a contract extension, so both players aren’t exactly happy.
