On the sixth night of the NBA preseason, we are set for a four-game slate. Who would have thought the two most exciting players to watch on a preseason slate would be Obi Toppin for the Knicks and Talen Horton-Tucker for the Lakers. Toppin has been a polarizing rookie for New York, which has needed an infusion of talent for a while. Top along with RJ Barrett and coach Tom Thibodeau has the Knicks looking on the rise. THT has been the talk of preseason with a few insane games for the Lake Show. L.A. has yet to roll out LeBron James or Anthony Davis for the preseason after the title run.

The Bulls have a case of Covid going around after Noah Vonleh tested positive. So six players won’t be traveling with the team to OKC for the preseason finale. Vonleh is the only confirmed case, but there were clearly some other players who were close to him. I forgot to mention Isaac Okoro, who finishes out the preseason with the Cavaliers dubbed the next Kawhi. Okoro has been impressive this preseason with a couple of double-digit performances so far. He’s looking like he’ll start and is making for a decent sleeper for Rookie of the Year.
