On the seventh night of the NBA preseason, we are set for a seven-game slate. This is going to be the final tune-up game before the regular-season begins for a handful of team. One game to watch is Hornets-Magic, which will feature a couple of rookies who could be competing for a certain award this season. LaMelo Ball has given us a couple of primetime highlights. He could see an increased role with Gordon Hayward dealing with a fractured hand. Miles Bridges is another name to watch on the Hayward injury front.

We’ve also got the Houston Rockets and James Harden taking on the Spurs again. Harden returned to action to much criticism on Tuesday. He “appeared” to be looking out of shape, but really seems fine. The internet can be a cruel place. Harden appears committed to the Rockets this season despite reports of trade requests and a toxic culture in Houston.
