We all should have seen this revenge game coming. On Christmas no less! Kyrie Irving had to wait a bit, but he finally got some actual revenge against his former team on Christmas Day. Irving dropped 37 points with 8 assists and 6 rebounds in a 123-95 win for the Brooklyn Nets over the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Irving got going in the second half and helped the Nets improve to 2-0 on the season. Let’s break down the performance and look at some other stats from the game.

Irving might be the key to the entire DFS slate on DraftKings. He dropped 61.5 DKFP, which is currently the highest output of the day, just ahead of Zion Williamson at 53 points for the Pelicans earlier. Irving got cooking in the second half and the Celtics had no answers. Jayson Tatum (36.5 DKFP) was a bust with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Jaylen Brown (42.5 DKFP) led the Celtics in scoring with 27 points and 8 boards.

Irving and Zion are both in the lineup leading the way in the Milly Maker at 302 combined points so far. It doesn’t look like that lineup will hold since everyone in it is done playing. So we’ll have to wait and see how the later games play out before crowning a new Milly winner on DK. Irving came in at 16.3 percent ownership and Zion was around 12 percent. Jaylen Brown was over 40 percent owned in that lineup, which was the highest player. Bobby Portis and James Wiseman were the top leverage plays.
