We’ve got some big-time injury news on the five-game slate or Monday. LeBron James is questionable to play for the Lakers due to an ankle injury. He may be held out on the second night of a back-to-back after L.A. took down the Timberwolves on Sunday night. Anthony Davis was held out of that game due to a calf strain. It’s unclear if he’ll be back for Monday night’s game against the Blazers.
The Pistons are resting a handful of regulars to start the week. Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose will both sit out on Monday to get some rest coming off an 0-2 start to the season in Week 1. The Hawks will look to stay undefeated against a shorthanded Pistons squad. Atlanta may be shorthanded themselves with Clint Capela still sidelined along with Kris Dunn and Tony Snell. Danilo Gallinari is also questionable and may not play after missing Saturday’s win over the Grizz.
