The 2020-21 NBA season is a few weeks away and training camp is underway. The Philadelphia 76ers had one hell of an offseason. It wasn’t so much the personnel moves, but rather adding two key names elsewhere. Doc Rivers was inserted in as coach to replace Brett Brown. Daryl Morey came over from the Rockets to run basketball operations after serving as GM. The Sixers made a few key moves to clear cap space and brought in shooters to space the floor, which should be a welcomed change. Here we’re going to take a look at the 76ers’ offseason, plus look ahead to the 2020-21 season.

Best Sleeper
Seth Curry — The Sixers have lacked the type of shooter like Curry for what seems like forever. Curry hasn’t been able to stay healthy, which is the only reason he’s in Philadelphia. If Curry can stay on the court, he has the fast-track to play most of the minutes at SG. He’s never shot below 42 percent from 3-point range in a season in his career. In deeper formats, Curry is a decent final pick to stash on your bench if you need 3-point shooting.
Likely Bust
Tobias Harris — This has to be the season where Harris realizes the only way his team is going to win is if he takes fewer shots. Rivers will probably instill that in him early on, focusing on Simmons and Embiid while kicking the ball out to shooters like Curry and Green. Harris will have value as a handcuff of sorts to Embiid or Simmons. That’s about it for me, I don’t see the upside with taking him in the top 50.
