The NBA Trade Deadline is approaching and Andre Iguodala is finally expected to find a new home. If he doesn’t, well, things could get very interesting in Memphis. Iggy has stated that if he isn’t dealt, he will sit out the entire season as a result. He really wants to get to a contender. The Grizzlies roster feels insulted as a result and has thus taken to social media to voice their displeasure, led by rookie star Ja Morant.

Iguodala has been rumored to be drawing interest from multiple contenders, including most recently the Miami Heat. After that report came out, more Twitter drama ensued with Morant getting into a threat started by ESPN’s Rachel Nichols. Stephen Curry is joining the fray as well. Needless to say, we’ll all be marking down our calendars for the first game in Memphis for whichever team acquires Iggy before the deadline.
Iggy would be wise to tread lightly though, the Grizzlies could effectively end his season by Ben Gordon’ing him.
If not traded, Iggy's camp needs to be a bit careful they don't burn bridges to the point he gets Ben Gordoned -- Charlotte cut him on March 2 a few years ago, mere hours after playoff eligibility deadline, just to nuke his chances of signing with a playoff team.

Dillon Brooks was the one who started it, after making these comments after the Grizzlies’ win over the Pistons on Monday night (followed by Morant’s shout):
