Collison, 32, stepped away from the game after last season with the Pacers despite posting decent numbers in 76 games. He cited religious reasons for retiring, per The Undefeated. Collison was also garnering interest from the Los Angeles Clippers, who recently waived G Isaiah Thomas following a trade with the Washington Wizards. The Lakers also worked out veteran G J.R. Smith, so we’ll see if there’s a reunion with LeBron James in the works.
