Two Los Angeles Lakers players have tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Thursday evening.
Two Lakers players have tested positive for coronavirus, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. The team may test the remaining players who did not take tests Wednesday morning.

Right now, it’s unclear who the two players are and if the rest of the Lakers are positive for negative for coronavirus. The Sixers just announced earlier in the day three members of their organization have tested positive for COVID-19, though didn’t specify who the three were.
The NBA also announced that practice facilities would be shut down for players and staff indefinitely.
