How to watch, what to watch for in “Players-Only” NBA 2K Tournament

If you’re a basketball fan living in the world the past three weeks, have I got some good news for you. The NBA and NBA 2K have partnered up to start a “Players-Only” 2K Tournament featuring some of the top NBA players in the League. Kevin Durant, Trae Young and Donovan Mitchell are just a few high-profile NBA studs who will take to the sticks for some 2K this weekend. Here’s how you can watch it all:

NBA 2K “Players-Only” Tournament TV schedule

  • First-Round — Friday, April 3, ESPN, 7-8:30 p.m. ET; ESPN2 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET
  • Finish First-Round — Sunday, April 5, ESPN2, 12-4 p.m. ET
  • Quarterfinals — Tuesday, April 7, ESPN2, 7-11 p.m. ET
  • Semifinals/Finals — Saturday, April 11, ESPN, Time TBD

All games will be available as VODs on ESPN3 following live competition. The tournament will also be streamed throughout NBA 2K and the NBA’s social channels. The winner will be crowned NBA 2K20 champ and will receive $100,000 that they can donate to the charity of their choosing in coronavirus relief efforts. The players will compete with an NBA team of their choosing, which will be selected from a limited group of teams.
