Milwaukee Bucks owner Marc Lasry is very optimistic the NBA will be back soon. The Bucks owner said on CNBC on Thursday afternoon that he believes the NBA will have all teams practicing by the end of May and that games could be back in August.

This seems pretty ambitious if you ask me, but the NBA is running out of time to fit the season in. Obviously the safety of all the players and personnel is paramount. NBA practice facilities are set to re-open on May 8 with a handful of teams getting back to individual workouts. Only six assistants and personnel are allowed in the facility at a time and no more than four people per session. So that’s pretty restrictive.
