It isn’t time to Boogie, unfortunately. DeMarcus Cousins has been working his way back from a torn ACL and has decided to sit out the restart of the NBA season in Orlando, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday morning.
Sources: Multiple teams have expressed interest in DeMarcus Cousins but have been told the four-time All-Star will sit out the resumed season and continue rehab for full return in 2020-21.

Cousins had signed with the Lakers during the offseason but didn’t appear in a game. It was always a long-shot for Boogie to be return this season, but there was hope he could be back for the end of the regular season or playoff run. Instead, Cousins will be cautious with his future and keep rehabbing rather than signing with a new team for the playoffs.
