Anthony Davis poked in eye, unable to return to scrimmage vs. Magic

Lakers PF somehow managed to get hurt and leave a scrimmage game in the NBA bubble. You just can’t make this stuff up. Get ready for the regular season!

Somebody alert the press, Anthony Davis has left a basketball game due to injury! Wait, we are the press ... Joking aside, Davis left the Los Angeles Lakers scrimmage against the Orlando Magic on Saturday afternoon after being poked in the eye. It was just a precaution, so it seems AD will be fine moving forward. It’s still pretty amazing that the player who seemingly leaves games constantly, managed to leave a scrimmage.

The good thing for Lakers fans is Davis was dominant before leaving, scoring 9 points with 10 rebounds in just 9 minutes before exiting. This, of course, was against a weak opponent in the Magic, but still, AD and the Lakers look ready for the regular season to get going again.
