The NBA regular season has returned with the seeding round beginning on July 30th in the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida. The NBA teams in the bubble will play eight games each to decide seeding for the NBA playoffs, with games running from July 30th to August 14th. A play-in tournament may then be required to decide to final playoff spots. We’ll be adding notable updates throughout the day, including final scores and news.

Here is a list of game for Thursday, July 30:

Utah Jazz vs. New Orleans Pelicans, 6:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 9:00 p.m. ET (TNT)

Betting lines and odds

Jazz vs. Pelicans

Spread: Pelicans (-2.5)
Over/Under: 220.5
Moneyline: UTA (+114), NOP (-136)

Clippers vs. Lakers

Spread: Lakers (-4.5)
Over/Under: 216
Moneyline: LAC (+150), LAL (-180)

What to watch for

UTA vs. NOP — Zion Williamson. We got a glimpse at the potential for Zion before the NBA season stopped back in March. Despite missing most of the season, Williamson’s play had us questioning the Rookie of the Year race a bit. Now, we get Williamson and the Pelicans back for eight games, and potentially more if they can make a run at the Grizzlies for the No. 8 seed.

LAC vs. LAL — Can the Clippers field a full team? Of course they can, but LAC will be missing a few key players in Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell. Williams will be out the first two game and Pat Bev and Harrrell’s statuses are up in the air right now. So that leaves Kawhi Leonard and Paul George to carry the load in the short term as the Clippers look to maintain the No. 2 seed in the West.
