Heat Training Camp Tracker: Latest news, injury updates in Orlando

We keep you up to date on everything happening with the Heat during training camp in Orlando for the NBA season restart.

The NBA is inching closer to a return at the end of July. The 22 teams participating in the restart of the 2019-20 season have made their way to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Training Camps for each team will run from July 9 through July 29 with scrimmages right up to the season reopening on July 30. With the Miami Heat beginning training camp, we’ll be tracking all the latest news and injuries here.

July 8 — Airplane Mode ready for Orlando takeoff

Derrick Jones Jr. was among one of the NBA players to test positive for Covid-19 a while back. The Heat have cleared Airplane mode for a return and he’ll be fine for the bubble in Orlando. Jones had been asymptomatic.
