The NBA is inching closer to a return at the end of July. The 22 teams participating in the restart of the 2019-20 season have made their way to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Training Camps for each team will run from July 9 through July 29 with scrimmages right up to the season reopening on July 30. With the Brooklyn Nets beginning training camp, we’ll be tracking all the latest news and injuries here.
Brooklyn Nets Training Camp news updates
The Nets, as everyone knows, have a roster that is depleted. So with that, we should see some new looks from Brooklyn in the starting lineup upon return. Rodions Kurucs is getting the first crack at starting PF for the Nets in training camp. There aren’t many options for Brooklyn in the front court, so small ball will likely be used. Brian Lew of the New York Post mentions the lineup is in flux.
July 7 — Spencer Dinwiddie opts out of restart
Dinwiddie will reportedly not play in the season restart in Orlando as a precaution. The Nets G tested positive for Covid-19 and was feeling the effects of the virus.
