There are six games on the slate for Tuesday in the NBA bubble. That means six separate DraftKings Showdown contests to sift through before we get lock at 1:30 p.m. ET. Here we’ll go over some picks for the contest between the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings, with tip scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Let’s get after it. Set your lineups here.

Captain’s Pick

Luka Doncic ($18,900)

Would anyone be surprised if Doncic were 100% owned in the Captain’s slot in this one? I would be only because it would mean nobody is smart enough to get leverage. I’m also not. a smart man and don’t care about leverage at Captain. It’s almost insulting that anyone is within $3K of Doncic’s price at Captain. Nothing against Kristaps Porzingis ($16,200 CP), who has been great the first two games, but Doncic seems primed for another triple-double.

Fade of the Game

Tim Hardaway Jr. ($8,200)

THJ is the ultimate tournament Showdown play for this pricing. He had 24 points in Game 1 against the Rockets and was awful against the Suns with two points — though he did get 10 rebounds. So his shot is streaky right now. The Kings aren’t a strong defensive team, so it seems Hardaway is in a “get right” spot. I still think this price is a little too high. I’d rather go with a high-priced stack and then pay way down.

Value Picks

Trey Burke ($3,800) — If you look at how Burke’s been used through two games, it looks a lot like THJ. The thing is, Burke is going to cost you does quick math $4,400 more! So I’ll take the saving sand hope Burke gets more run against the Kings. He had 31 points and 6 assists for 47.25 DKFP against the Rockets in the opener.

Cory Joseph ($1,800) — Because we have to play someone from the Kings, why not make it as cheap as possible? Joseph has had scattered minutes, though Game 2 the Kings were blown out by the Orlando Magic. If this game is somewhat competitive (the spread is only -5 DAL) then Joseph should see around 20 minutes.
