Brook Lopez and Wesley Matthews are inactive against Brooklyn.

UPDATE: Aug. 4, 1:34 p.m. — It’s time for full tilt, babbbbby. Both Brook Lopez and Wesley Matthews are inactive along with Giannis’ brother.

This explains why RoLo and Hill are in the starting lineup. The Bucks are shorthanded a bit, so we should see a lot of Robin and Hill if this is the case. If the game gets out of hand, enter the bench mob. This game was probably worth fading altogether, but we’ll see how it goes.

UPDATE: Aug. 4, 1:09 p.m.Bledsoe and Robin Lopez will start vs. the Nets. Brook Lopez, Wesley Matthews and Donte DiVincenzo will play off the bench with George Hill also starting in the back court.

The Milwaukee Bucks will get a couple quarantiners back into the lineup Tuesday vs. the Brooklyn Nets. PG Eric Bledsoe and G Pat Connaughton will be back in there after having to quarantine due to Covid-19. Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer told reporters that Bledsoe and Connaughton will have a minutes restriction.

Fantasy basketball and betting impact

There isn’t a ton of value in playing Bledsoe at $6,100 with the restriction. Plus, the Nets are throwing out a G-League team for this one, so if Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,900) and Khris Middleton ($7,900) are playing early on, this could be over quick. Connaughton ($3,500) has more appeal but still isn’t a viable option. If anything, you should look to guys from the bench who would play a lot in garbage time. Marvin Williams ($4,100), Ersan Ilyasova ($3,600) and Sterling Brown ($3,600) could be those plays.

The lines on this game on DKSB are something like we’ve never seen before. The spread is at 18.5 and the O/U is 230.5. That’s a heavy spread for anyone to cover, though the Bucks should do it pretty easily if Giannis and Middleton play 25-30 minutes. The O/U I think is WAY too high. The Bucks would have to score like 130-140 points if the Nets offense can’t do anything. Brooklyn’s offense could easily put up 70-80 points against the Bucks defense. If starters don’t play a ton for Milwaukee, I don’t know if we get to 231 points total.
