Bogdan Bogdanovic scores career-high 33 points in three quarters

Kings SG is blazing hot in this high-scoring affair. Zion Williamson is also putting in work.

UPDATE: Bogdanovic leads all scorers with 33 points, 3 rebounds, and five assists for 45 DKFP. Zion Williamson has essentially been perfect from the field with 19 points on 9-of-10 shooting. He has tallied 26.25 DKFP.

Sacramento Kings guard Bogdan Bogdanovic must’ve been watching T.J. Warren tape last night, because the New Orleans Pelicans have no answer for him. The Serbian sniper dropped 19 first quarter points Thursday to help Sacramento score franchise record 49 points in the first frame.

Bogdanovic was 1-for-15 from the field in his team’s overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks in his last outing and only finished with 12.3 DKFP. He’s close to his season average of 26.3 DKFP per game with 23 in 12 minutes thanks to his five made threes. I wish Bogdanovic had this shooting stroke when I rostered him earlier this week, but that’s just how things work sometimes.

The Pelicans don’t look like they want to make it to the postseason, and there’s no way they will playing this kind of defense. Maybe they’re hoping LaMelo Ball can be the final piece of the puzzle. Zion Williamson is on a limit again but is also at a point per minute with 11 points in 11 minutes.
