Monte Morris scores 12 first-half points vs Lakers

Monte Morris looks like the kind of difference maker that could help the Nuggets get their first postseason win against the Lakers on Tuesday.

The Denver Nuggets have a 63-53 lead over the Los Angeles Lakers halfway through Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. This series has been about the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis against Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, but Monte Morris has stepped up as a key role player to tip the scales in the underdog’s favor.

Morris exploded for 12 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist off the bench. He only trails Jokic (15) in points on the Nuggets and is even with Murray in points. The backup guard has tallied 15.75 DKFP and appears to be the kind of value play that will win tournaments in tonight’s NBA DFS contests on DraftKings.
