Jazz vs. Wizards on Wednesday becomes 6th game to be postponed this season

Utah and Washington won’t play Wednesday night with the Wizards undermanned.

The game between the Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards scheduled for Wednesday, January 13th has been postponed due to Covid-19 and health and safety protocols, the League announced Tuesday night. The Wizards are dealing with too many players in health protocols and won’t be able to field an 8-man roster. This is the 6th game the NBA has postponed due to health and safety protocols, all coming in the last week and a half.

The Wizards had to place Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner into health and safety protocols on Tuesday. Russell Westbrook and Thomas Bryant are both out with injuries. The Wizards didn’t mention any other names, but we can only assume that more players are in health protocols and the team wasn’t going to have 8 players.
