Bol Bol making first start of season vs. Nets

Bol Bol is set to make his first start of the 2020 season against the Nets on Tuesday.

Halftime update — Bol has played sparingly and has logged 10 minutes at the break. He’s scored five points and hauled in two rebounds. He’s a perfect 2-for-2 from the field but has one turnover and two personal fouls.

Tuesday’s matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets should be an interesting one, as Denver made an unexpected lineup change ahead of tip-off. The Nuggets have decided to start Bol Bol for the first time this season after Gary Harris was ruled out for personal reasons.

Denver’s full starting lineup will be Jamal Murray, Will Barton, Bol Bol, Paul Millsap, and Nikola Jokic. It’s unclear whether Bol will play the three or the four, but he’ll provide a ton of value in DFS given how little he’s played this season. He’s just $1,000 as a utility option for Showdowns because he has only played 24 minutes this season.

Bol’s 7’2” frame and versatile skill set could help him stuff the stat sheet in his first start of the year and I’d take him over any minimum-priced player available tonight. Will you ride the Bol Bol train or fade the chalk?
