NBA starting lineups, injury news for Wednesday, January 13th

We update you with all the latest lineup and injury news for the eight-game slate.

Normally, we’d have a bigger slate of games in the NBA but health and safety protocols have put a dent in Wednesday’s set. As a result, there are eight games on the schedule for tonight with two being postponed already — Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz vs. Washington Wizards. We may end up seeing another game or two get added to that, but for now we’ll operate on eight games.

If the rest of the games do get played, there are some intriguing matchups. The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks face each other in the crosstown rivalry that should have some more appeal. The Knicks have dropped three in a row after their strong start. The Nets are missing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant plans to play on the second night of a back-to-back. Later on in the night, we get Trae Young vs. Devin Booker. So keep your head up basketball fans!

Update: The Atlanta Hawks vs. Phoenix Suns game has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.
