NBA postpones two games Friday due to health and safety protocols

We are up to 9 games postponed over the last two weeks due to Covid-19 concerns. This time it’s Wizards vs. Pistons and Warriors vs. Suns on Friday.

The NBA continues its quest to postpone every game imaginable. This time we have two more added to the list, which makes the “kill count” up to 9 games in the past two weeks. The Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will not play this Friday, January 15th. We had three games postponed on Wednesday and some concerns surrounding the Pelicans after Zion Williamson was placed in health and safety protocols.

The situation is getting worse despite the League opting not to pause the season and implement new health and safety protocols that are supposed to be stricter. They will essentially place teams into their own bubbles within hotels and at home, restricting access to the public and forcing players to wear masks more frequently while not interacting with other teams socially.
