NBA starting lineups, injury news for Thursday, Jan 28

We update you with all the latest lineup and injury news for the four-game slate.

For Thursday night’s NBA schedule, we have four games on with tip-off times set between 7:30 p.m. ET and 10:00 p.m. ET. Within those games, we have two games on TNT. The broadcast night begins at 7:30 p.m. ET with the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets. That’s followed at 10:00 p.m. ET when the Golden State Warriors will be taking on the Phoenix Suns. There should be a lot of information about who is starting and out, which could affect fantasy basketball lineups and the betting lines.

Let’s take a look at lineups for Thursday night.

NBA starting lineups for Thursday, Jan 28

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Houston Rockets, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Blazers confirmed lineup — PG Damian Lillard, SG Gary Trent Jr., SF Derrick Jones Jr., PF Carmelo Anthony, C Enes Kanter

Lineup notes: Rodney Hoods (left quad) and Derrick Jones, Jr. (left quad) are both probable.

Rockets confirmed lineup — PG John Wall, SG Victor Oladipo, SF JaeSean Tate, PF PJ Tucker, C Christian Wood

Lineup notes: Christian Wood (right ankle) probable, Dante Exum (right calf) out

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Detroit Pistons, 8 p.m. ET

Lakers confirmed lineup — PG Dennis Schroder, SG Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, SF Kyle Kuzma, PF LeBron James, C Marc Gasol

Lineup notes: Anthony Davis (right knee) is out while LeBron James (left ankle) is questionable. UPDATE: Kyle Kuzma will start in place of Davis against the Pistons, while LeBron will play.

Pistons confirmed lineup — PG Delon Wright, SG Wayne Ellington, SF Jerami Grant, PF Blake Griffin, C Mason Plumlee

Lineup notes: Killian Hayes (right hip) is out

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Miami Heat, 8 p.m. ET

Clippers confirmed lineup — PG Reggie Jackson, SG Terance Mann, SF Luke Kennard, PF Nic Batum, C Serge Ibaka

Lineup notes: Patrick Bevereley (right knee), Paul George (health and safety protocol), Kawhi Leonard (health and safety protocol) all ruled out.

Heat confirmed lineup — PG Kendrick Nunn, SG Tyler Herro, SF Duncan Robinson, PF Kelly Olynyk, C Bam Adebayo

Lineup notes: Jimmy Butler (health and safety protocol), Goran Dragic (left groin), Tyler Herro (neck), Duncan Robinson (left quad), and Max Strus (left wrist) are all questionable. Gabe Vincent (right ankle) is probable. Meanwhile, Meyers Leonard (left shoulder strain), Moe Harkless (left thigh contusion), and Chris Silva (left hip flexor) have been ruled out. UPDATE: Robinson, Vincent, and Strus are all available to play, while Butler and Dragic have been ruled out. Bradley, however, is unlikely to play, but Herro will be active. Andre Iguodala (neck) has been ruled out.

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns, 10 p.m. ET, TNT

Warriors confirmed lineup — Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr., Draymond Green, Kevon Looney

Suns confirmed lineup — Chris Paul, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder, Deandre Ayton

Lineup notes: Devin Booker (hamstring), Cameron Payne (right foot sprain), and Damian Jones (health and safety protocol) have all been ruled out.
