ESPN is hosting a doubleheader on Friday evening and will close with a matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz at 10:00 p.m. ET. If you aren’t around a TV to check out this primetime NBA matchup, you can stream the game via WatchESPN or the ESPN app. But keep in mind that you need a cable-login subscription.
If you don’t have a cable subscription, there are quite a few streaming services offering free trials for one or two weeks. You can check YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV and be able to stream this Friday night NBA double header on ESPN.
The Mavericks come into this game on a bit of a skid as they lost each of their last three games. In the last time out, Dallas played Utah Wednesday night and came up short with a 116-104 road loss. Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with a 30-point performance on 13 of 24 shooting from the floor to go along with six assists. Dallas shot just 34.3% from the three-point line as they dropped to 8-10.
Utah has been playing much better than the Mavericks as of late. Coming into this one, the Jazz have won 10 consecutive games after starting just 4-4 early in the season. Against Dallas on Wednesday night, Jordan Clarkson scored a game-high 31 points off the bench on 11 of 21 shooting including 4 of 11 from three-point range. Rudy Gobert went for 29 points and 20 rebounds, both of which were season highs. The Jazz were without Donovan Mitchell, who was in concussion protocol and is a game-time decision to play Friday night.
