Nikola Jokic is having a day against the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year frontrunner. Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert has had a tough time slowing down the Denver Nuggets star on Sunday, and the Joker is en route to a monster stat line.
Jokic has tallied 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists at the break on 13-of-17 shooting. He’s a perfect 4-for-4 from three and has helped Denver secure a 79-54 lead against a Jazz team that entered Sunday riding an 11-game winning streak. Jokic has a game-high +26 plus/minus and could find himself on the pine if Denver’s lead continues to balloon in the second half.
Jokic has amassed 49.25 DKFP so far and has a good chance to become Sunday’s top scorer across all DFS contests on DraftKings. Will probably won’t reach the 75 DKFP he’s projected for, but it’s safe to say he’ll make some more funs plays like these before it’s all said and done.
Nikola Jokic drops a CAREER QUARTER-HIGH 2⃣2⃣ in the 1st Q!
