Update: So not only is Tatum out due to quarantine. Not only is Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams out due to quarantine. Now, Jaylen Brown, Javonte Green and Semi Ojeleye are questionable to play Sunday due to health protocols.

Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum is expected to enter quarantine for 10-14 days after being placed in health and safety protocols, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. This is a huge blow to the Celtics, who were playing great despite dealing with multiple players being injured and/or in health protocols.

The Celtics recently placed Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams in quarantine for up to seven days due to contact tracing. Tatum is the latest player to join them.

The Celtics are now down nearly all of their front court bodies outside of Daniel Theis and Semi Ojeleye. We may actually get to see some Tacko Fall as a result of Tatum being out for nearly two weeks. Jaylen Brown is going to be the focal point of the offense with Tatum sidelined. We should also see extra touches and shots for Marcus Smart and Jeff Teague. Rookie guard Payton Pritchard will also need to step up to compensate for the loss of Tatum.
