UPDATE: Jan. 10, 3:38 p.m. — Durant will return to the lineup while Irving remains sidelined for the Nets on Sunday against the Thunder.

The Brooklyn Nets could get both superstars back to end the week. PG Kyrie Irving (personal) is listed as questionable after missing the past two games due to personal reasons. SF/PF Kevin Durant (health protocols) is probable to make his return from a 7-day quarantine. So the Nets lineup could look a lot more lethal if both All-Stars can return. It would not be good news for the Oklahoma City Thunder, their opponent for Sunday.

The Nets had been rolling out a starting lineup of Caris LeVert, Bruce Brown, Taurean Prince, Jeff Green and Jarrett Allen with Irving and KD sidelined. It will be interesting to see if Brown and/or Green sticks in the starting lineup. The Nets will likely start Irving, Joe Harris, Taurean Prince, Kevin Durant and Jarrett Allen. DeAndre Jordan had been starting but Allen has looked too good the past few games starting. Still, it’s hard to tell with Steve Nash. Brooklyn has a ton of depth, so he could mix things up again. Harris and LeVert off the bench may be lethal as a second unit.
