The Warriors entered the All-Star Break on a three-game losing streak. If Stephen Curry’s performance during All-Star Weekend is any indication, the Warriors will be just fine in the second half. What the Dubs really need is Steph to carry the offense. If Andrew Wiggins or Kelly Oubre Jr. can step up and be the second option (or even rookie James Wiseman), the Dubs can be a threat to one of the top teams in the West come playoff time.
The Clippers also limped in the break after losing four of five games. Los Angeles has dealt with injuries to star players and have missed role players throughout the first half. At full strength heading into the second half, the Clippers are expected to contend for the top overall seed. At 24-14, the Clippers are just 4.0 games behind the Utah Jazz for first place in the West.
