The Hornets are going to have to shake off being run off the court by the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. Going from Denver to Los Angeles in a pinch isn’t easy, especially when LeBron James is waiting for you at the end of that flight. It’s the first meeting between LaMelo Ball and King James. Ball already told reporters he isn’t really excited for the first matchup. We’ll see if things change when the two step on the court.
The Lakers have strung together three straight wins and are getting back on track after that 9-5 finish to February. So far the Lakers are undefeated after the All-Star break despite still missing Anthony Davis. AD isn’t coming back anytime soon, but that shouldn’t impact the Lakers’ chances of remaining in the top 4 in the West. This feels like a spot the Lakers can easily extend their winning streak against a tired team coming off a blowout loss.
