The Sixers are coming off a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday. That ended a four-game winning streak for Philly, which is expected to get back Joel Embiid soon with April around the corner. Embiid resumed on-court activities over the weekend and could be back early in the month. The Sixers are 32-14 and are clinging to the No. 1 spot in the East, just 0.5 games up on the Brooklyn Nets heading into Tuesday.
The Nuggets are 2-0 since the NBA Trade Deadline last Thursday. The team debuted its new toy in Aaron Gordon on Sunday in a win over the Hawks, Gordon started and scored 13 points in 21 minutes. The Nuggets did not debut newly-acquired center JaVale McGee, who sat out as a DNP-CD. At 28-18, the next team in sights for the Nuggets is the Los Angeles Lakers, who are 1.5 games up on Denver in the 4-seed in the West.
