Los Angeles Lakers C Andre Drummond will make his team debut in the starting lineup for Wednesday’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. Drummond signed with the Lakers after reaching a buyout agreement with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs were unable to trade Drummond prior to the NBA Trade Deadline last Thursday. Drummond opted to chase a ring with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, both of whom are sidelined with injuries.
We’ll see what the Lakers starting lineup looks like against the Bucks. Veteran Marc Gasol should head to the bench to clear the way for Drummond to start. So chances are we see Dennis Schroder, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma, Markieff Morris and Drummond starting. Drummond’s presence hurts Morris a bit. He should see fewer rebounding chances and opportunities down low. Drummond is an OK rim protector when motivated, so Giannis Antetokounmpo gets a slight downgrade (not by much really).
