The Nuggets enter the game with a 34-19 record and in fourth place in the Western Conference. They are coming off a 105-87 loss to Boston, which snapped an eight game winning streak and leaves them two games back of the third place Clippers.

The Warriors enter the game with a 25-28 record and in tenth place in the Western Conference. They are coming off a 125-109 win over Houston and have won two of three after losing seven of eight. Golden State is two games back of Memphis for the last playoff spot in the conference.
