The Mavericks are dealing with a slew of injuries, including Luka Doncic (elbow) and Kristaps Porzingis (ankle). The Mavs held out Porzingis against the Sacramento Kings on Monday night. Doncic was able to play along with Dorian Finney-Smith and Maxi Kleber, but Josh Richardson (hamstring) was held out. So the injury report is murky for the Mavs heading into Tuesday night in a game with big standings implications.
The Warriors have won two in a row since falling to the Washington Wizards last week. One of those wins is over the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic, who continues to lead Stephen Curry (+1400) for NBA MVP. The Dubs are in 10th place in the West, fighting to gain some ground in the play-in tournament standings. The Mavs are in 6th place, so a win for Golden State would give them a full game in the standings, which is huge. Curry is close to closing out April averaging 38 points on 53/47/89 shooting splits.
