The Wizards are very likely to be among the teams to be a part of the play-in tournament. With a 32-36 record, they have the ninth best record in the East, three games ahead of the No. 11 team Chicago Bulls and five games behind the current No. 6 seed Miami Heat. Washington has won three of their last four games and are coming off two consecutive overtime victories on the road. Their best player Bradley Beal left Saturday’s game with an injury and will not be available Monday night.
Atlanta is currently tied for the fifth best record in the East at 37-31, and they are two games ahead of the Boston Celtics, who are looking to avoid the play-in tournament with just a few games to go. The Hawks had a three-game winning streak snapped in their last time out on Thursday. De’Ande Hunter and Cam Reddish remain out, and Tony Snell is questionable to play on Monday night.
