The San Francisco 49ers announced Week 15 inactives and Brock Purdy is officially ACTIVE for their matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Purdy was listed as questionable this week due to oblique and rib injuries. He was limited every day in practice, but it was reported early on Thursday that Purdy was expected to play.

Purdy is the latest starting quarterback to take over for the 49ers. Both Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo suffered injuries paving the way for the former last pick in the NFL Draft to get an opportunity. Purdy carved up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14, throwing for 185 yards with two touchdowns and rushing in at the goalline for another score. The Seahawks are allowing middle-of-the-road numbers to opposing quarterbacks. While this makes Purdy a risky play as your quarterback, his presence should still help those around him have solid outings. Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle should all be started this week, with Purdy good to go.
