Update: Smith ended up just getting a cursory check from the trainers and never appeared to be in danger of missing time.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is getting checked out on the sidelines after getting sacked on third down in the second quarter against the Chiefs. He was able to walk off the field under his own power. Drew Lock is warming up in case he needs to go in. We’ll keep an eye on his status.
