The NFL wraps up Week 8 with a bit of a stinker of a matchup. The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, which means we get to see tanking on full display across the country. The Dolphins are dealing away spare parts for draft picks as quickly as they can, so it’s no surprise they’re winless. Meanwhile, the Steelers are trying to figure things out with Ben Roethlisberger out for the season, and currently sit at 2-4.
Given how bad the Dolphins have been, it’s no surprise they’re huge underdogs in this game. They are currently a 14.5-point underdog at DraftKings Sportsbook and the point total sits at 43. The Dolphins are 2-4 against the spread, while the Steelers are 3-2-1.
The Steelers return from a bye week, and quarterback Mason Rudolph is expected back from his concussion. James Conner was also banged up, so he’ll be worth tracking this week. Miami has been giving Mark Walton more opportunities and he has moved into a starter role over Kenyan Drake. DeVante Parker has managed to find the end zone three straight weeks, so we’ll see if he can make it a fourth.
We’ll be tracking everything for the game, from odds to fantasy. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in what looks like a stinker, but hopefully entertains.
