The NFL playoff race is starting to hear up, and Week 12 opens with a huge AFC South showdown on Thursday Night Football. This week the Houston Texans host the Indianapolis Colts with first place in the division up for grabs. The Texans lost to Baltimore last week, while the Colts beat the Jaguars to move into a tie at 6-4.
The Texans are a 3.5-point home favorite against the Colts at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 52. It’s just shy of the highest point total for Week 12. The Colts have controlled this series in recent years winning and cover the spread in five of the last six games dating back to the beginning of the 2017 season. The Colts enter this game 5-4-1 ATS and the Texans are 5-5 ATS.
The Colts lost running back Marlon Mack to a broken hand in Week 11 and he is not going to play on Thursday. Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton is rehabbing from a calf injury and remains a question mark as well. The Texans are hoping to get wide receiver Will Fuller and cornerback Bradley Roby back for the game, but both are game-day decisions.
