Marcus Peters crows about kicking Jalen Ramsey, Rams out of the playoffs [VIDEO]

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are rolling and still have a shot at the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. Meanwhile, the Rams are in serious trouble.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson thoroughly dominated in Week 12 on Monday Night Football, and they continue cruising toward the AFC North title. Jackson may have locked up the MVP award, throwing five touchdowns and rushing for 95 yards in the 45-6 route.

The game ended with things getting heated between the opposing secondaries. Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters, acquired from the Rams in a trade, was happy to talk smack to Jalen Ramsey and the Rams about the loss. He yelled at the Rams about “kicking your ass out of the playoffs,” according to beat writer Jamison Hensley, and at one point had to be separated from Ramsey after the game came to an end.

The Rams suffered a critical blow to their playoff hopes. They drop to 6-5 with the loss and are two games back of the Minnesota Vikings for the second wild card berth. The Rams will be rooting for the Seahawks in a big way this weekend. The 9-2 Seahawks host the Vikings in a matchup of the two wild card squads. With the extra game between them, the Rams best chance is a couple Vikings losses.

Life gets a little easier in Week 13 for the Rams as they travel to face the Cardinals. Of course, rookie QB Kyler Murray has impressed in his own right and this won’t be a walk in the park for Jalen Ramsey and Wade Phillips’ defense.

Meanwhile, the Ravens improved to 9-2 with the win and lead the Pittsburgh Steelers by three games with five weeks remaining. More importantly, the Ravens have a two-game lead for the second first round bye, and remain one game back of the New England Patriots. The Ravens beat the Patriots to get the key tiebreaker.

Baltimore hosts the 10-1 San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 49ers defense is one of the best in the league, and the narrative all week will revolve around what defensive coordinator Robert Saleh can do against Jackson. It’s a huge test for both teams.
