Detroit Lions quarterback David Blough got off to an impressive start in his debut on Thanksgiving. He threw touchdowns on his first two drives, connecting with Kenny Golladay on a 75-yard touchdown and Marvin Jones on an eight-yard score.
On the other side of things, Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky got off to a solid start on his first drive, but has been hit or miss since. It’s been a shaky season as a whole after an impressive 2018, and once again has Bears fans doubting the decision to trade up to the No. 2 pick for him.
The Bears picked Trubisky over Patrick Mahomes and DeShaun Watson, and it’s safe to say Bears fans will never forget. And Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman rubbed it in a little more. During the broadcast, he talked about the comparisons being made, and then snickered a bit when he said Trubisky would now be compared to Blough. The tone of Aikman’s voice is perfect.
