The NFL closes out its tenth Sunday of the 2019 season with a potential playoff preview on Sunday Night Football. The Dallas Cowboys host the Minnesota Vikings in a game that kicks off at 8:20 p.m. PT on NBC.
The Vikings are 6-3 and sitting just back of the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. They lost a close one in Kansas City last week, snapping a four-game winning streak. The Cowboys are 5-3 and sitting a half game up on the idle Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. The Cowboys have won two straight. The NFC wild card could feature a pair 11 or 12-win teams, so winning the division would be a big help for both of these teams.
Dallas opened as a field goal favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, and the line now sits at 3.5. The point total is 48, which is the fourth highest point total of Sunday. The Cowboys are -180 on the money line, while the Vikings are +160.
The injury report has a couple big names in the passing game. The Vikings are expected to be without wide receiver Adam Thielen, while Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper is a question mark. The Cowboys are also expected to be without tackle Cameron Fleming once again.
However the final injury report shakes out, there will be plenty of betting and fantasy implications in this game. We’ll be tracking everything for the game. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in what could be a 2020 playoff preview.
