UPDATE: Vikings PR tweeted that Dalvin Cook has been ruled OUT with a shoulder injury.
The Minnesota Vikings are up 22-10 on the Los Angeles Chargers in the third quarter, but they’re dealing with a notable injury. Running back Dalvin Cook landed hard on his injured shoulder, according to beat writer Ben Goessling. He went to and exited the medical tent, but Goessling is reporting Cook did not have his helmet.
The Vikings just kicked a field goal, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens after the Chargers next drive. Mike Boone is the backup running back with Alexander Mattison inactive. Cook has nine rushes for 27 yards and three catches for 16 yards. Boone has one rush for two yards. Ameer Abdullah might get some work as well if Cook misses any more snaps.
