Week 16 of the 2019 NFL season is upon us, and it brings a change to the normal schedule. Thursday Night Football wrapped up last week, and this week brings the rare Saturday schedule. Normally Saturday brings college football, but with that regular season finished, it means we get our one weekend of NFL regular season Saturday football. It’s a triple-header airing on NFL Network, and all three games feature significant playoff implications.
The final game of the day features the 11-3 San Francisco 49ers hosting the 8-6 Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers need to win this game to have a shot at the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The Rams need to win this game just to have a shot at hanging around the playoff race.
The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. on NFL Network. The 49ers are a 6.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total sitting at 45. The 49ers are -265 on the money line, while the Rams are +225.
The Rams have a question at kicker, with Greg Zuerlein uncertain due to a quad injury. The 49ers are expected to welcome back cornerback Richard Sherman and nickel back K’Waun Williams, but likely will be without edge rusher Dee Ford and safety Jaquiski Tartt.
We’ll be tracking everything for the game, from odds to fantasy. Check back here throughout for everything that goes down in this NFC West showdown.
