Patrick Mahomes is an absolute magician

The Chiefs quarterback has another impressive play to add to his highlight reel.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as proven he’s arguably the best quarterback in the NFL. And yet, each week it feels like we see something that further cements his greatness.

Check out this run in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills. Mahomes can’t find an open man so he scrambles to his left. He sees multiple defenders so he slows up and looks like he might go out of bounds or drop to the ground. Instead, he cuts back, spins around and then with a second effort dives forward. He ends up inches short of the first down, but it’s close enough to set up 4th and inches that Darrel William turns into a touchdown.

One point of note is the defenders were in a tough position given how the NFL protects quarterbacks. In decades past, we might have seen a defender just aiming to blow him up the entire way, rather than slowing down and figuring out how to avoid a penalty.

Whatever the case, this is unbelievable!
