The Jacksonville Jaguars will hit the road for Week 7 to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. Both teams are looking to snap losing streaks. The visitors have lost five straight while the home team has lost four in a row. Which team will avoid slipping further into mediocrity remains to be seen.
The Jaguars surprisingly upset the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 but have been on a downward spiral since then. Gardner Minshew has thrown the ball more than most quarterbacks and James Robinson has established himself as a quality all-purpose back, but Jacksonville has struggled to put point on the board or stop the opposition from scoring. They look like the rebuilding team many expected them to be in 2020.
Justin Herbert has played well since taking over the starting job in Week 2 but hasn’t been able to get a win. The rookie is averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game and will be without Austin Ekeler, who is one of the most well-rounded backs in the NFL. Herbert’s go-to guy Keenan Allen is questionable to play because of a back injury, so Herbert could have limited options on offense.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
Jaguars
James Robinson, RB, $6,200
Robinson’s price has dropped because of his recent struggle but remains one of the Jaguars’ most dangerous weapons. He’s god for at least 15 touches a game and is among the league leaders in yards from scrimmage. He just to pick up some momentum post another strong performance.
Keelan Cole, WR, $4,700
Cole is the Jaguars’ most productive wideout but is cheaper than D.J. Chark ($5,500) by a significant margin and slightly pricier than Laviska Shenault Jr. ($4,500). He’s a favorite red zone target of Minshew. If you can get Chark numbers for cheap, pull the trigger.
Chargers
Justin Herbert, QB, $6,400
Jacksonville is a bottom 10 team against the pass, so there’s a good chance Herbert will be able to get close to 300 passing yards again. He’s proved that he can put the ball on a rope to anyone and can utilize targets like Hunter Henry, Jaylen Guyton, and others to move the chains against the Jaguars.
Mike Williams, WR, $4,700
Williams caught five passes for 108 yards and two scores after returning from injury in Week 6. If Allen misses more time, he should continue to be Herbert’s primary target. He’s an excellent deep ball threat and excels at making contested catches. Even if he doesn’t rack up a ton of receiving yards, his physicality makes him an optimal red zone threat.
